Two South Florida families surprised with new roofs during the holiday season
PLANTATION, Fla. (XX, 2025) — The Miami Dolphins Football UNITES™ program and Action Roofing Services, a member of the Peak Roofing Partners Family of Companies and an Official Roofing Partner of the Miami Dolphins, came together to surprise two local households in need with new roofs valued at $20,000 each.
In early December, the Miami Dolphins and Action Roofing surprised Natalie Davis, a Miami Gardens resident, and Kervens St. Preux, a Deerfield Beach resident, with brand-new roofs, bringing safety and comfort to their homes just in time for the holiday season. Representatives from the Miami Dolphins and Action Roofing showed up on each of the recipients’ doorsteps and delivered the news that they would be receiving brand-new roofs free of charge resulting in heartwarming moments of gratitude.
Natalie Davis, a devoted mother of two daughters, has faced significant health challenges, spending at least a week in the hospital every month since February. Despite her struggles, she remains resilient. Her family’s home had a leaking roof that caused the ceiling in her daughter’s room to cave in and it urgently needed repair.
“This is such a blessing,” said Natalie Davis. “This is taking a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you, everyone!”
Kervens St. Preux, a remarkable young man from Deerfield Beach, has stepped up as the provider for his household, caring for his parents who can no longer work. While attending college, he juggles multiple jobs to ensure his family’s needs are met. Their home faced a critical challenge: a roof in desperate need of replacement, with constant leaks and structural issues.
“This has been something that I’ve been praying for and to be able to see the fruition of my prayers is just a phenomenal thing,” Kervens St. Preux began. “I’ve been sleeping essentially outside and have been exposed to the elements so I feel like this was something that would change not only the quality of my life but the quality of my whole family’s life.”
